Uprising: A Conversation on Race, Protest & Resistance in Philly

In the wake of recent global uprise protesting the murders of Black U.S. citizens, including George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, the African American Museum in Philadelphia convenes a group of Black Philadelphia activists for a timely conversation on the current sociopolitical moment, and its impact on Black individuals and communities in our region. Moderated by Philadelphia organizer and youth advocate Gabriel Bryant, this town hall conversation features Yahne Ndgo of Black Lives Matter Philly, Megan Malachi of Philly for Real Justice, and Mike Africa, Jr. of MOVE. Join us for this important dialogue on police violence, race,  politics, activism and change in Philly.
